Jennifer Bortner

Jennifer Bortner is one of the co-editors-in-chief for The Oakland Review. She is an undergrad at CMU, studying Literature & Culture and Global Studies. Jennifer is also an intern at Carnegie Mellon University Press and serves as publisher of CMU’s student newspaper, The Tartan.

Fun fact: Jennifer loves nitpicking at font choices and has a special place in her heart for Garamond.

Dylan Rossi

Dylan Rossi is one of the co-editors-in-chief for the Oakland Review. He is an undergrad at CMU, studying Physics and Creative Writing. On his intramural soccer team he is known as “El Capitan.”

Emma Zuder

Emma Zuder is the Managing Editor for the Oakland Review. She is a Masters student studying Literary and Cultural Studies at CMU. Emma enjoys reading, writing, and cooking; she also is an avid thrifter!

Yui Takahashi

Yui Takahashi is the Assistant Managing Editor for the Oakland Review. As a Master's student of Japanese - English translations, Yui is interested in the proliferation and dissemination of modern Japanese subcultures. In their free time, Yui enjoys creating art and transformative fiction in both Japanese and English.
